Lineapiù is an Italian excellence in yarn production for knitwear, collaborating with the greatest fashion houses in the world. Beauty and innovation in its collections are made with creativity and quality, using many types of yarns: alpaca, cashmere, mohair, silk, bouclé, tweed, soft yarns combined in a fantasy of colors and styles, and lurex yarns for glamorous clothing. Lineapiù Italia has also created a yarn called Gold made of extra-fine merino wool, enriched with a pure gold filament and yarns interacting with sunlight, taking chromatic shades. Founded by Giuliano Coppini in Capalle, near Florence, in 1975, Lineapiù has created 40,000 knitted elements, over 5,000 yarns, thousands of knitted garments, a collection of laces, embroideries, and textile samples, accessories, and experimental samples, over 1,200 books on fashion, art, graphics and photography, a precious treasure of materials, yarns preserved in the Archivio Storico Lineapiù was opened in 2012, an ample exhibition space projected by Nemo Monti, with beautiful collections of vintage and contemporary clothes realized by prestigious brands and designers using Lineapiù’s yarns, the dresses are worn by the artistic and elegant Schlappi mannequins created by Bonaveri. Lineapiù Italia manufactures the collections: Lineapiù, Filclass, and Lineapiù Knit Art presented at Pitti Filati, promoting the heritage of Italian sartorial and dressmaking arts.
Visiting the stands, at the entrance we see vintage clothing of sixties and seventy style: pink dresses, blouses, coats, trousers, white, and blue dresses embroidered with gold brocade threads, a yellow gold lurex dress, by the shops: Street Doing of Florence, Plus Venturino Archivi Tessili of Asti, Delphine Vintage, Atelier Edition. The exhibition also displays the beautiful colors, fabric textures, and the softness of wools and yarns by prestigious brands: Industria Italiana Filati, FilCompany, FilPucci, Lineapiù, and many others. The winners of the XVI edition “Feel the contest 2025 – Master Edition” are Avery Zhang of London College of Fashion, with her knitwear creation in collaboration with Manifatture Sesia, and Lan Krebs of the Swedish School of Textiles with Pollone Filatura.
Alessandro Bastagli, President of Lineapiù Italia, met the press on 1st July in the workplace Lineapiù alla Fortezza da Basso in Florence, where the fascinating Bonaveri Schlappi mannequins enhance the knitwear collections in an immersive and poetic installation. The space is transformed into an enchanted forest where the trees covered in knitwear narrate a story of Nature, evocative of the origins of the fibers. Each tree tells its story through a knit stitch, a stage in the creative journey that has made Lineapiù a center for experimenting with aesthetic and material languages. Designer Naira Khachatryan has defined a narrative context made of floating cloths, suspended arches, sounds of Nature and plays of light, which evoke an emotional and sensorial landscape, where matter and imagination intertwine. The soft and sophisticated tones, inspired by the morning mist, moss, and the reflection of light between leaves, create an atmosphere that combines technological innovation and artisanal sensibility.
Lineapiù has collaborated with Polimoda on a cultural and innovative project that displays dresses and tapestries made with new knitting stitches by students of different nationalities. The new Lineapiù, Filclass, and Knit Art presented at Pitti Filati from 1st to 3rd July 2025, celebrate the company’s anniversary by introducing new aesthetic, material, and chromatic canons, offering a glimpse into the future of knitwear. The Lineapiù collection includes five stylistic universes that combine elegance, Nature, and innovation. The new Filclass collection explores the emotional connection between body, matter, and landscape. The Knit Art collection is a wave of fantasy, softness, and color play.
For Lineapiù Italia’s anniversary, the artist Felice Limosani has created a work that combines art, technology, and storytelling, “Le Parole del Filo,” an installation where the LED luminous words convey the concepts and values of Lineapiù Italia, imbuing its clothing creations with beauty and quality. Lineapiù Italia has celebrated 50 years of style, innovation, and creativity with a great party at the Lodge Club overlooking the beautiful landscape of Florence.
The President of Lineapiù, Alessandro Bastagli, said in his speech of thanks: “We are here in this fantastic place to enjoy the beauty of our wonderful town. Many people, combining ability, passion, talent, and energy, have contributed to the success of Lineapiù; every enterprise is the result achieved by every single person. Thanks to all my employees, collaborators, clients, and friends for understanding us and also giving us the possibility to transform fiber into matter in a dream of style. I was in my early twenties when I started moving the first steps in what would be my life’s relationship with the world of fashion, shoes, leather goods, clothing, fifty years of work in Italy and abroad to explore different places in different times, habits and customs to know better the industry of creativity, Lineapiù yarns were the work of maturity” and among the applause of the guests at the evening, Alessandro Bastagli adds: “Thank you to all of you and to all those who have allowed me to live unforgettable years, where there has been effort and satisfactions. These years have marked a time of which I am proud and that I carry in my heart, and with this heart I thank you infinitely”.

Visitando gli stand all’entrata della fiera, vediamo abbigliamento vintage nello stile anni sessanta e settanta: abitini rosa, camicette, cappotti, pantaloni, vestiti bianchi, azzurri ricamati con fili oro broccato, un vestito giallo oro lurex, delle marche di negozi: Street Doing di Firenze, Plus Venturino Archivi Tessili di Asti, Delphine Vintage, Atelier Vintage. Il salone espone una varietà di colori, trame di tessuti e le morbide lane e filati di prestigiosi brands: Industria Italiana Filati, FilCompany, FilPucci, Lineapiù e molti altri. I vincitori della XVI edizione di “Feel The Contest 2025 – Master Edition” sono Avery Zhang del London College of Fashion, con la sua creazione in maglia, abbinata a Manifatture Sesia e Lan Krebs di The Swedish School of Textiles in collaborazione con la Filatura di Pollone.
Nello stand di Lineapiù Italia, il Presidente Alessandro Bastagli ha incontrato la stampa il primo di Luglio nello spazio Lineapiù alla Fortezza da Basso a Firenze dove gli affascinanti manichini Bonaveri Schlappi risaltano le collezioni di maglieria in un allestimento immersivo e poetico. Lo spazio si trasforma in una foresta incantata dove gli alberi rivestiti di maglia raccontano una storia di natura evocativa delle origini delle fibre. Ogni albero si racconta attraverso un punto maglia, una tappa del viaggio creativo che ha reso Lineapiù un centro di sperimentazione di linguaggi estetici e materici. La stilista Naira Khachatryan ha definito un contesto narrativo fatto di teli fluttuanti, archi sospesi, suoni di Natura e giochi di luce, che evocano un paesaggio emotivo e sensoriale, dove si intrecciano materia e immaginazione. I toni tenui e sofisticati ispirati alla bruma del mattino, al muschio, al riverbero della luce tra le foglie creano un’atmosfera che unisce innovazione tecnologica e sensibilità artigianale.
Lineapiù ha collaborato con Polimoda a un progetto culturale e innovativo che presenta abiti e arazzi realizzati con nuovi punti maglia dagli studenti di diverse nazionalità. Le nuove Lineapiù, Filclass, e Knit Art presentate a Pitti Filati dal 1 al 3 Luglio 2025, celebrano l’anniversario della società presentando nuovi canoni estetici, materici e cromatici, aprendo uno sguardo sul futuro della maglieria. La collezione Lineapiù include cinque universi stilistici che combinano eleganza, Natura e innovazione. La nuova collezione Filclass esplora il legame emotivo tra corpo, materia e paesaggio. La collezione Knit Art è un’ondata di fantasia, morbidezza e giochi di colore.
Per l’anniversario di Lineapiù Italia, l’artista Felice Limosani ha realizzato un’opera tra arte, tecnologia e storytelling, “Le Parole del Filo”, un’installazione dove luminose parole in LED raccontano i concetti e i valori di Lineapiù Italia, conferendo bellezza e qualità nelle sue creazioni di abbigliamento. Lineapiù Italia ha festeggiato 50 anni di stile, innovazione e creatività con un grande party al Lodge Club che si affaccia sul bellissimo panorama di Firenze.
Il Presidente di Lineapiù, Alessandro Bastagli ha detto nel suo emozionante discorso di ringraziamento: “Siamo qui in questo posto fantastico per godere anche la bellezza della nostra meravigliosa città, tante persone unendo capacità, passione, talento ed energia hanno contribuito al successo di Lineapiù, ogni impresa è il risultato ottenuto da ogni singola persona. Grazie a tutti i miei dipendenti, collaboratori, clienti e amici, comprendendoci e dandoci anche la possibilità di trasformare fibra in materia in un sogno di stile. Avevo poco più di vent’anni quando ho iniziato a muovere i primi passi in quello che sarebbe stato il rapporto della mia vita con il mondo della moda, le scarpe, la pelletteria, l’abbigliamento, cinquant’anni di lavoro in Italia e all’estero per esplorare luoghi diversi in tempi diversi, usi e costumi per conoscere meglio l’industria della creatività, i filati di Lineapiù sono stati il lavoro della maturità”, e tra gli applausi degli invitati alla serata, Alessandro Bastagli aggiunge: “Un ringraziamento a tutti voi e a tutti quelli che mi hanno consentito di vivere anni indimenticabili dove ci sono stati fatica e soddisfazioni, anni che hanno segnato un tempo del quale sono fiero che porto nel mio cuore e con questo cuore vi ringrazio infinitamente”.
