  1. L’idea Magazine was born in 1974 as a periodical for an association in Brooklyn, Circolo Culturale di Mola di Bari. Through the years it has grown to be a periodical for the Molesi in America to a periodical for the Apulians in America, and finally for the Italians in the United States. With these changes, also came the growth of the number of pages, the variety of the articles and authors, the appearance of color, and the awards. L’Idea sponsored many events tied to their cultural and social activities, such as Miss Puglia USA, Miss Idea, Premio Puglia, and Premio L’Idea per il giornalismo. The Editor-in-Chief Leonardo Campanile has been with the magazine from the beginning in various positions, while Tiziano Thomas Dossena joined the magazine staff in 1988 and became the Editorial Director in 1990…
