15 anni…diventa piano piano maggiorenne il FESTIVAL UMBRO DEDICATO AI PROFESSIONISTI DEL CINEMA.
Unico nel suo genere, premia chi lavora in silenzio in una stanzetta: il regista e il montatore creano la magia del film!
Ovviamente è solo una delle figure che servono al prodotto finale che noi, comodamente seduti, guardiamo al cinema, e a tal proposito non c’è paragone tra vedere il film in tv o al cinema.
Troppe sale stanno morendo per mancanza di spettatori, che tristezza: Spello offre film gratuiti per 10 giorni dedicati a chi ama veramente il cinema; eroi silenziosi e “senza gloria” come costumisti, make-up artist, doppiatori, sceneggiatori, fonici, scenografi, effetti speciali, stuntman,,, i fautori della magia che già dai fratelli Lumière incanta grandi e piccini
Le premiazioni: cominciando da Agenda 20/30, che ha premiato la serie TV “Never too late” di Lorenzo Vignolo e Salvatore De Chirico, nel suggestivo e prezioso Teatro Subasio a Spello, presentato con molta verve e bravura da Sofia D’elia e Giada Fortini.
La premiazione per i professionisti del cinema è consistente, con i bravi e brillanti presentatori/attori Valeria Zazzaretta e Francesco Castiglione, a Foligno, nel meraviglioso auditorium San Domenico. La madrina del festival quest’anno è Federica de Benedittis, attrice giovane e con una carriera in ascesa.
Tutti i festival hanno eventi collaterali e la presenza di ospiti del mondo del cinema: la simpatica, brava attrice Veronica Pivetti, l’altra meravigliosa attrice Elena Sofia Ricci, Alessandro Sperduti attore e padrino del festival ormai da anni, e fa bene perché Spello Festival porta bene, e il cantante Daniele Silvestri con il documentario di Fabi, Silvestri, Gazzè: Un passo alla volta.
Interessanti le due mostre al Palazzo del Cinema, a cura dello storico del costume Luciano Lapadula e del fashion designer Vito Antonio Lerario, Chiara Scardoni, make-up artist, e Francesca Rita, hair stylist, dal titolo: Il nero nel cinema.
Maria Roscini ha presentato opere dedicate al cinema, realizzate in ceramica.
Sono stati presentati film italiani, film internazionali, documentari, backstage, cortometraggi, film d’animazione; ogni categoria ha la propria giuria e, ancora una volta, tre gli altri: il nostro direttore Tiziano Dossena, il regista Jesús García-Lamberti, Fabrizio Giometti, Susan Kikoler, per citarne alcuni.
Dagli States, in collegamento, la William Penn University, Oskaloosa, Iowa: professor Max Leonida.

15 years… THE UMBRIAN FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO FILM PROFESSIONALS IS SLOWLY COMING OF AGE.
Unique in its kind, it rewards those who work in silence in a small room: the director and the editor create the magic of the film!
Obviously, it is only one of the figures that serve the final product that we, comfortably seated, watch at the cinema, and in this regard, there is no comparison between seeing the film on TV or at the cinema.
Too many cinemas are dying for lack of spectators, how sad: Spello offers free films for 10 days dedicated to those who really love cinema; silent and “inglorious” heroes such as costume designers, make-up artists, voice actors, screenwriters, sound engineers, set designers, special effects, stuntmen.
The awards: starting with Agenda 20/30, which awarded the TV series “Never too late” by Lorenzo Vignolo and Salvatore De Chirico in the evocative and precious Teatro Subasio in Spello, presented with great verve and skill by Sofia D’elia and Giada Fortini.
The award ceremony for film professionals is substantial, with the talented presenters/actors Valeria Zazzaretta and Francesco Castiglione, in Foligno, at the wonderful San Domenico auditorium.
All the festivals have collateral events and the presence of guests from the world of cinema: the nice, good actress Veronica Pivetti, the other wonderful actress Elena Sofia Ricci, Alessandro Sperduti, a young actor and talented friend of the Spello Film Festival for years, and the singer Daniele Silvestri with the documentary by Fabi, Silvestri, Gazzè: One step at a time. Interesting are the two exhibitions at the Palazzo del Cinema, curated by costume historian Luciano Lapadula and fashion designer Vito Antonio Lerario, Chiara Scardoni, make-up artist, and Francesca Rita, hair stylist, entitled: Black in cinema.
Maria Roscini presented ceramic works dedicated to cinema.
Italian films, international films, documentaries, backstage, short films, and animated films were presented, each category has its own jury, and once again, among the others: our Director Tiziano Dossena, the director Jesus Garcia Lambert, Fabrizio Giometti, and Susan Kikoler.
From the States, a connection with William Penn University, Oskaloosa, Iowa: Professor Max Leonida.
