The fashion brand Taller Marmo presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Milan on September 25, 2025, at a special event, “The Taller Marmo Ball,” held at the Grand Ballroom in the Baroque and Rococo style of the Visconti di Modrone Palace, a 17th-century building.

In a scenographic setting inspired by the dances of the past, the elegant Schlappi mannequins by Bonaveri wore a selection of the fashion brand’s most fabulous and eccentric looks, dresses, golden bracelets, and custom-made masks and headpieces.

Just like at a cinema set, the scene installations inspired by famous masquerade balls of the 20th century: Carlos de Beistegui’s Le Bal Oriental (1951), Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball (1966), and Marie-Hélène de Rothschild’s Surrealist Ball (1972) were designed and realized by the Milanese architecture and design studio Thomas Zangaro.

In the soft lights of the grand ballroom, a group of mannequins, the Tallerettes play on a stage. Meanwhile, seated and standing mannequins with their beautiful and mysterious faces behind masks, enjoy the party at tables elegantly adorned with candlesticks and flowers, set with glasses, dishes, and bottles. The event was an immersive experience in the world of Taller Marmo, with the music of vintage pieces spreading in the rooms such as the classic and romantic song “Moon River”, the jazz & swing sound of “Summertime”, “Sing Sing Sing”, “Fly me to the moon” and an intriguing mix of musical pieces while a mannequin wrapped in pink feathers and with shiny high-heeled shoes, rotated in a sparkling glass of champagne and another mannequin in a glittering mesh dress, relaxed in a lounge chair and still other mannequins seemed to dance or chat, holding a cocktail glass.

Taller Marmo is a fashion brand “Made in Italy,” as its collections are crafted with high-quality fabrics and the expertise of skilled artisans, featuring a sophisticated aesthetic. Founded by Italian designer Riccardo Audisio and Argentinian designer Yago Goicoechea, the brand’s name combines “Taller,” the Spanish word for manual work, with “Marmo,” the Italian word for marble, to convey high-quality materials, express quality, luxury, artisanal manufacturing, and Italian excellence.

Taller Marmo is renowned for the elegance and glamour of its clothing collections, which combine chic vintage and modern styles inspired by Art Deco, the luxury of Hollywood Divas, and the show business in Italy of the 1960s and 1970s, also showcasing an exotic taste. Their fashion collections present airy and flowing caftans of silk, chiffon, organza, adorned with ostrich feathers and fringes, jacquard gowns, breezy bouclè tunics, gold brocade dresses, metallic lurex clothes, and dresses embellished with sequins, and crystals in a vibrant palette of colors: lavender, turquoise, yellow, pink, fuchsia, orange, and green.
At the presentation of Taller Marmo’s brilliant fashion collection, the “Taller Marmo Ball”, in the antique rooms of Visconti di Modrone Palace, featuring stuccos, mirrors, candlesticks, curtains, and frescoes, the sensual Schlappi mannequins by Bonaveri created a dreamy atmosphere in a performance of fashion.
