Once again, Drs. Gilda and Mary Rorro, mother-daughter duo, are in the news! They shared an unforgettable experience at The White House in October 2023. They were part of the first-ever Delegation to be invited to The White House in celebration of Italian American Heritage Month.
Judge Basil Russo, President of the Conference of Presidents of Major Italian American organizations organized this historic event, hosted by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, who addressed the group with an inspiring speech.
In addition to First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, President Joe Biden spoke with members of the Delegation and Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi also visited with the Italian-American leaders. The meeting recognized the sacrifices and celebrated the contributions Italian Americans have made to our country.
