Our Editorial Director, Tiziano Thomas Dossena, presented a report on “Giuseppe Garibaldi, the Hero of the Two Worlds” at the Garibaldi Lodge #2583 of Eastchester, at the Eastchester Public Library, and on Zoom at the Crestwood Branch of the Yonkers Library. The report covered the famous Italian general from his birth in Nice to his death on Caprera, highlighting his many achievements, including his ultimately role in helping unite Italy.
In it, Dossena also emphasized the importance of our Garibaldi-Meucci Museum, located in Staten Island, NY, and encouraged people to visit it.
