Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti will release String Theory, his first album of original music, on January 29, 2027, through Keep Good Company Records. Produced by Lee Falco and recorded at The Building in Marlboro, New York, the album follows a decade of touring and performing the classic songs that first introduced him to a national audience.
In 2016, Valentinetti received Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer on NBC’s America’s Got Talent for his rendition of “My Way” and went on to finish among the season’s top five finalists. Since then, he has toured nationally and internationally, building a following around his baritone voice, humor, and rapport with audiences.
His recording of “My Way,” featuring the No Vacancy Orchestra, also appears on the soundtrack of Jackass: Best and Last.
With String Theory, Sal moves from an established career interpreting standards to a full-length collection of original songs. The next single, “Love Can Be A Beautiful Thing,” arrives November 20, ahead of the album.
**Making the record in the Hudson Valley**
Sal’s work with Keep Good Company began with studio sessions with Jack Petruzzelli, where he recorded “Little Pal” and other songs that remain unreleased. He then worked with Lee Falco on String Theory at The Building in Marlboro. The album brings together Hudson Valley musicians including Jeremy Baum, Jeff Hill, Chris Pasin, Will Bryant and Ginger Winn. Songs include “One Wish,” “Still On My Way,” “The Lessons of a Life Well Lived,” “Members Only” and “Love Can Be A Beautiful Thing.” The project carries Sal’s classic vocal style into new material while retaining the romance, humor and storytelling that have shaped his performances.
**An Italian-American musical upbringing**
Raised on Long Island in an Italian-American family with roots in Abruzzo and a tradition of instrument-making, Sal first discovered the music of Sinatra, Jerry Vale and Ella Fitzgerald in his grandmother Santina’s kitchen. Food, family and music remain closely connected in his life and work. That background has carried through his touring career and appearances celebrating Italian-American culture, including the 2026 centennial Feast of San Gennaro in Manhattan’s Little Italy. String Theory adds original songs to the repertoire that has long connected him with those audiences.
Sal will perform at The Falcon in Marlboro on November 20, 2026, offering an early live preview of the album ahead of its January release.
