RALPH PUCCI PRESENTA NUOVE MOSTRE D’ARTE E ARREDAMENTO
Ralph Pucci artista e gallerista ha aperto a Los Angeles il 26 Ottobre al McCadden Place una mostra di Stefan Bishop, il debutto di una collezione di arredamento di Patrick Naggar e la prima installazione di sculture di luce e vetro di Sébastien Léon, ci sarà anche una mostra di bella arte “Fluxus” di Paul Solberg, l’8 Novembre a New York al 44 West 18th Street e la collezione di Patrick Naggar “Polyphony”, arredamento e luce.
Gli artisti che esibiranno le loro collezioni sono: Stefan Bishop artista e disegnatore, crea vari pezzi di arredamento: scaffali, consolle, tavoli, specchi, panchine, attraverso gli aspri elementi della Natura, materiali come bronzo, legno, pietre che vengono fabbricati in un lavoro artigianale nel suo studio che ha aperto nel 2012 a Los Angeles. Patrick Elie Naggar, artista, architetto e disegnatore ha creato una collezione all’aperto di sedie: la sedia Amalfi con tavolino in vetro gesso, il set di sedie Positano, il tavolino da caffè Etna. Le sue sedie hanno una forma classica e moderna fatte attraverso l’uso di una resina pigmentata opaca nei colori: blu, grigio, terracotta. Nel suo arredamento possiamo trovare anche la consolle Artemis, il tavolino da caffè Lotus, il Sofà Curve, la lampada da pavimento Aphrodite, l’armadio Seagull, e il mobiletto Pharos. Naggar considera l’architettura una conoscenza centrale, una fonte di idee, tendenze plastiche e artistiche per creare oggetti e spazi per il nostro ambiente. L’artista porta nel suo lavoro, mito e scienza, culture antiche e moderne, Naggar ha ricevuto il premio prestigioso come migliore disegnatore nel 2008 dal Centre du Luxe e de la Creation di Parigi. Sébastien Léon artista, disegnatore e musicista presenta per Ralph Pucci International la sua collezione “Mirage”, una serie di lampade in sculture di vetro il cui calore e il movimento della luce all’interno creano un’ atmosfera magica. Queste sculture sono realizzate artigianalmente da Sébastien Léon nel suo studio di Los Angeles. Nella collezione “Mirage” ogni scultura ha un’unica forma e trama attraverso l’applicazione della fiamma e delle forze gravitazionali, trasformando il vetro in forme geometriche e antropologiche. Léon aggiunge l’argento a queste creazioni usando l’antico processo del rispecchiamento. Quando le sculture sono spente, la superficie mostra una patina scultorea riflettente adornata con tracce di ossidazione e alcune esplosioni di colore, poi quando sono illuminate permette alla luce di permeare, creando un’esperienza visiva. Ogni pezzo è montato su una base di ceramica, terracotta, acciaio inossidabile. La collezione “Mirage” include una varietà di sculture di luce chiamate: Atacama, Karoo, Sahara, Gobi, Red Desert, El Djouf, Talamakan, Tanami. “Mirage” allude sia alle origini sabbiose del vetro e ai giochi di luce dietro le sculture in vetro, Léon ha anche realizzato per la galleria d’arte Twentieth di Los Angeles la collezione “Hydrochrom” dalla espressione greca “il colore dell’acqua” una serie di sculture dai colori blu, verde, rosso, ambra con l’uso di illuminazione Led di cui alcune decorate con della corda navy naturale mentre alcuni cubi in spumeggiante vetro blu sono trasformati in sculture sonore che riproducono il suono originale dell’oceano, www.sebleon.com
Paul Solberg è artista e fotografo, ha studiato antropologia all’università di Cape Town ed ha viaggiato in Botswana, Sud Africa prima di spostarsi a New York. È famoso per i colori brillanti di ritratti di fiori e l’uso raffinato della luce in opere d’arte: Peach Rose, Revolution, Orbit, Flamenco, Sun. Ralph Pucci artist and gallery owner has opened in Los Angeles at McCadden Place on 26th October an exhibition by Stefan Bishop, the debut of Patrick Naggar’s furniture collection and the first installation of glass light sculptures by Sébastien Léon, there will also be an exhibition of fine art “Fluxus” by Paul Solberg on 8th November at 44 West 18th Street in New York with Patrick Naggar’s collection “Polyphony” furniture and lighting.

Patrick Elie Naggar artist, architect, and designer has created an outdoor collection of chairs: the Amalfi chair and side table in plasterglass, the Positano set of chairs, Etna coffee table. His chairs have a classic, modern shape made using a mat-pigmented resin in the colors: blue, gray, and terracotta. In his furniture, we can also find the Artemis console, the Lotus coffee table, the Curve Sofa, the Aphrodite floor lamp, the Seagull armchair, and the Pharos cabinet. Naggar considers architecture a central knowledge, a source of ideas, plastic, and artistic trends in order to create objects and spaces for our environment. The artist brings in his work, myth and science, ancient and modern cultures, Naggar received the prestigious prix as the best designer in 2008 by the Centre du Luxe et de la Creation in Paris. Sébastien Léon artist, designer, and musician presents his “Mirage” collection, at Ralph Pucci International, a series of glass sculptures that the warmth and the movement of LED light within the cores create a magical atmosphere. These sculptures were crafted by Sébastien Léon at his Los Angeles studio. In the “Mirage” collection each sculpture has a unique shape and texture through the application of flame and gravitational forces, transforming glass into geometric and anthropological shapes. Léon adds silver to these creations using the antique process of mirroring. When the sculptures are switched off, the surface shows a reflective sculptural patina adorned with traces of oxidation and some bursts of color, then they are illuminated and it allows lighting to permeate, making a visual experience. Every piece is mounted upon a ceramic, terracotta, stainless steel base. The collection includes a variety of glass sculptures called: Atacama, Karoo, Sahara, Gobi, Red desert, El Djouf, Talamakan, Tanami. “Mirage” alludes both to the sand origins of glass and to the games of light behind the glass sculptures. Léon has also realized for the Twentieth Art Gallery in Los Angeles the “Hydrochrom” collection from the Greek expression means “the color of water”, a series of blue, green, red, and amber sculptures with the use of Led lighting, some of them are decorated with navy natural rope, other some blue bubbly glass cubs are transformed into sound sculptures, playing the original sound of the ocean www.sebleon.com
Paul Solberg is an artist and photographer, he studied Anthropology at the University of Cape Town and traveled to Botswana, South Africa before moving to New York.
