La citazione non è mia ma di una collega seduta accanto a me. Le luci si accendono e noi due ci guardiamo incredule. Abbiamo appena visto la presentazione della Stagione Teatrale 22\23 del Teatro Bonci a Cesena. Una presentazione ricca di fascino e sorprese che invoglia il pubblico ad amare il teatro, cuore pulsante di Cesena e non solo.
Il presidente Ert Emilia-Romagna Teatri Giuliano Barbolini e il Direttore Teatro Nazionale Valter Malosti hanno sviluppato un programma variegato, con una scelta oculata e intensa sotto il segno di una frase sibillina e ricca di significati al contempo: “Turn and Face the strange” Voltati e affronta l’ignoto, tratto da una celeberrima canzone di David Bowie.
Parole che mai come in questo momento sono presagio e domande, tante domande, su un futuro mondiale così incerto. Sul palco Valter Malosti, regista, attore, direttore, coadiuvato da un gruppo di giovani musicisti, di apporti video, presenta il programma con enfasi ma senza retorica, con passione e preparazione. Tutto è gradevole, soft ma ricco di pathos.
Teatro con Silvio Orlando, Lella Costa per citare due nomi di richiamo senza in alcun modo minimizzare altri grandi del teatro italiano e non solo. Danza, concerti per arricchire l’anima perché le arti servono a questo: saziare il sapere, invogliare a pensare. Il teatro è fonte a cui abbeverarsi.
A latere ma non meno importante una gradevole riapertura: Il Caffè del Teatro, nuova gestione che sarà aperta al pubblico due ore prima dello spettacolo in collaborazione con ASP (Azienda Pubblica di Servizi alla Persona) non solo caffetteria ma luogo di formazione e integrazione sociale, luogo aperto ai cittadini quale investimento e sinergia tra istituzioni e territorio. Progetto ambizioso ma fattibile e necessario.
Buon lavoro e ai cittadini suggerisco che il sapere è ricchezza.

We have just seen the presentation of the 22\23 Theater Season of the Teatro Bonci in Cesena. A presentation full of charm and surprises invites the audience to love the theater, the cultural heart of Cesena and not only. The president of Ert Emilia-Romagna Teatri Giuliano Barbolini and the Director of the National Theater Valter Malosti have developed a varied program, with a careful and intense choice under the sign of a phrase sibylline and rich in meanings at the same time: “Turn and Face the strange” Turn and face the unknown, taken from a famous song by David Bowie. Words that never as in this moment are omens and questions, many questions, about a future world so uncertain. On stage, Valter Malosti, director, actor, director, assisted by a group of young musicians, of video contributions, presents the program with emphasis but without the rhetoric, with passion and preparation. Everything is pleasant, soft but full of pathos.
Theater with Silvio Orlando and Lella Costa, to make two names of reference without the slightest minimization of other greats of Italian theater and beyond. Dance, concerts to enrich the soul because the arts serve this purpose: to satiate knowledge, to encourage people to think. The theater is a source to drink from.
On the side, but no less important, a pleasant reopening: Il Caffè del Teatro, a new management that will be open to the public two hours before the show in collaboration with ASP (Company Public of Services to the Person), not only cafeteria but a place of training and social integration, a place open to citizens as an investment and synergy between institutions and territory. Ambitious but feasible and necessary project.
Keep up the good work, and to the citizens I suggest that knowledge is wealth.
