Giorgio Ferrara was awarded the “Golden Seal” Award, which is assigned every year by the University for Foreigners of Perugia to five excellences of Italian culture. The ceremony took place on March 7th at the presence of the President of the Chamber, Laura Boldrini. The rector entrusted the seal to Giorgio Ferrara, for his capacity as film and theater director, and as artistic director of the Foundation Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto for the last seven years.
The award also went to Ferruccio Ferragamo, President of the Salvatore Ferragamo SpA, Oscar Farinetti, founder of the chain Eataly, Pier Luigi Celli, business executive, essayist and writer, President of Enit and ItaliaCamp, and Nicoletta Spagnoli, CEO of the Luisa Spagnoli company.
