Our Editorial Director on the cover of the national magazine Italian America

By Leonardo Campanile

Just recently, our Editorial Director, Tiziano Thomas Dossena, was on the cover of the national magazine Italia America, the most widely read magazine for people of Italian heritage in the USA. A marvelous interview performed by Prof. Frances Curcio brought to life all the vicissitudes tied to the publication of his volume The Dance of Color, which also appeared in the Italian language as La Danza del Colore.

This interview, which can also be found as a PDF at the bottom of this article, followed the January article of Eastchester News on the same topic.

It has been a very hectic period for Tiziano, with two exhibits of his father’s paintings, one at the Eastchester Public Library and one at the Garibaldi Meucci Museum, a few presentations of the aforementioned book in Yonkers, Staten Island, Eastchester, and via Zoom, and various presentations related to the 50th year celebration of our magazine.

At one of the presentations, Dossena was bestowed with a proclamation from the County of Westchester for his hard work, and a day was dedicated to him.
