One of our readers from Yonkers, Teresa Matuone-Tortora, has recently celebrated her 103rd birthday!! Happy to be around family and friends, she lightened up the main room of Yonkers’ Rory Dolan’s restaurant with her ever-ready smile and still sharp sense of humor. Although recently she has suffered a set-back by falling and being hospitalized, she has bounced back and is now able again, ever so slowly, to walk around. She is intentioned on recuperating completely her capacities so as to attend to her daily house chores (she still cooks and cleans her house!). Our readers wish her a happy birthday and many more to come.
