(USA) FEAST OF SAN GENNARO IN NYC

Schedule of Events 
Thursday, September 12 (Opening Day) –
2 to 3 PM: 12th Annual Cannoli Eating Competition
6 to 7 PM: Blessing of the Stands
Saturday, September 14 (Grand Procession) –
2 PM: A colorful parade with floats, marching bands, musical entertainers
and the statue of San Gennaro through the streets of Little Italy.
   
Thursday, September 19 (Official Feast day) –
6 PM: A Celebratory High Mass in honor of San Gennaro in Most Precious Blood Church,
the National Sanctuary of San Gennaro.
7 PM: A Religious Procession in which the Statue of San Gennaro is carried through the streets of the Feast.
Sunday, September 22 (Annual Feast of San Gennaro Blood Drive) –
11:30 AM to 6:30 PM: Figli di San Gennaro and The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral Co-Sponsor the Annual Feast of San Gennaro Blood Drive at St. Patrick’s Basilica Youth Center, 268 Mulberry Street (between Houston and Prince Streets)

Caffé Palermo will provide free cannoli to all donors at the Youth Center.
 
The Italian American Museum will give free admission to anyone presenting a donor card after donating at the blood drive.

Thursday, September 12 – Sunday, September 22, 2013
Weekdays: 3pm – 7pm  
Saturday and Sunday: 12pm – 8pm
 Featuring a 10 minute continuous video highlighting the history and cultural significance of the Feast of San Gennaro.
 Historic photos of Little Italy, which were gathered from family collections, will be on display throughout the Feast.
