The statue of the Patron Saint of Mola di Bari, the ‘Madonna Addolorata’ (Our Lady of Sorrows) was paraded around the town in a procession as part of a ceremony on Holy Saturday.
On Good Friday evening, the statue of the fallen Jesus Christ had a similar procession.
This is an annual event just before Easter Sunday.
