The fashion designer Lagerfeld was known for the use of luxurious materials, and innovative techniques, he drew inspiration from art, architecture, music, and literature. In the exhibition “A Line of Beauty” is described the character between S-shaped lines representing movement, romanticism, and ornamental motifs of Lagerfeld’s designs and the straight lines which represent modern, and minimalist tendencies. Lagerfeld infused both into his designs, creating garments to embrace the natural contours of the body, dresses with flowing lines, drapes, and soft textures that give a sense of fluidity, and the straight lines were represented in classic, simple dresses. Lagerfeld also created clothes with touches of eccentricity but always wearable. Illustrations, fashion drawings, photographs, and sketches of Lagerfeld’s models tell his creative work.  The exhibition “A Line of Beauty” is displayed across platforms, single pedestals, and arcades designed by Tadao Ando. Bonaveri mannequins, through their faces and gestures, interact with the scenography, adding charm to the exhibition, while they accompany the audience in the world of fashion.
